Paul Mouncey is one of our guitar and cello tutors.

Paul began learning bass, guitar and drums whilst at Logan Park High School, Dunedin. He studied Double Bass at Massey University graduating in 2002 with a Bmus(perf). Paul is a regular performer in Wellington, most notably with original band OdESSA. In their seven year career OdESSA released 2 albums, toured N.Z many times over, played at The Big Day Out and even won a JuiceTV award. Paul is also very busy with jazz band "The Five o Clock Shadows" and Brazillian outfit "SambaladaFunk".

Paul has been teaching guitar and bass for around eight years and currently teaches at Rongatai College and Hutt Valley High School as well as Raroa Music Academy.
