Jillene Everett - Flute and Recorder Tutor
Jillene Everett is our flute and recorder teacher. She has been playing the flute for over 30 years and has 12 years experience at teaching Ministry of Education flute classes. Jillene is an Executive Assistant at Ministry of Health, Health and Disability National Services and lives in Whitby with her husband Mark and Son James who goes to HIBS. She plays in the Tawa Orchestra, Crofton Flute Ensemble and the St Mary’s Whitby church music group and has in the past played for the Manawatu Concert Band, Capital Performing Arts and Masterton Orchestras. Jillene believes the Recorder is a good instrument to start on to learn the basics and beginners are not expected to have had any previous experience. She enjoys passing on her love of music to the children. |
