Elaine Lai is one of our Keyboard tutors.

Elaine is currently studying a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication Design and is studying at Massey University in Wellington. She achieved Grade 8 in piano in 2008 and passed all her NZQA music internals with excellence results throughout her time at Newlands College.

Elaine was involved in several music activities and performances throughout her time at Newlands College. She was involved with the school orchestra, choir & Big Sing, entered the chamber music competition, Stage Challenge, and the school show.

Not only has Elaine a great interest in music, but she has also been very involved in the performing arts such as dancing (ballet and contemporary) from early childhood until last year (12 years). Elaine has also been performing in a lot of concerts and competitions throughout her years in Wellington.
